Standfod Prison Experiment
I hear about the Standfor Prison Experiment vaguely but was not really sure what really went on. In this experiment, we can clearly see that when someone is given authority over someone else and are not supervised on it they clearly abuse it fast, this makes me think of how Hitler rose into power none ever really care to stop him till he became a threat. What really intrigued me was how the experiment was terminated early due to the prisoners bein traumatized it was all a simulation but it turned very real to some of the volunteers.

Social Media
Pros and Cons of Social Media:
This article states a good point that social media's pro is increasing productivity since the amount of information that exists on the web is easily accessible. Social media allows information to be spread quickly and in real-time as well making everyone easily aware of events or topics. The con of social media is also closely correlated to the pro the amount of information that can be spread quickly can also be very inaccurate and many people could be misinformed on a topic.
Social Media and Youth Politicla Engagement:
This article mostly discusses the ways in which the youth is able to speak their ideas and thought on social media whether it a social media group or their own profile.
The Personalization of Politics:
This article was interesting as it showed how social media gathers information from users and personalizes advertisements to people to pressure them to buy or look into something. This work in the same way for politics on social media, it caters to people who seem into politics and inclines for them to participate politically.

Studying a Crowd: Workplace
I work for a warehouse and I paid attention to my fellow coworkers on Tuesday night because that when we are all scheduled to work truck. I noticed that my fellow coworkers differentiate from other departments. I notice when it comes to working they will analyze how long the whole truck process will take to finish and once they estimate they tend to goof off for the first hour or two and then actually work. I also notice they have this ego where they seem to not care about their job or doing the extra step "as longest the job is done, I won't do extra unless they pay me more." I feel this sense of arrogance coming from the whole crew when they speak among themselves about departments they always make other departments seem inferior and say statements like "oh yeah they are trash at their job, if only they can do their job right, why are they so stupid can't do anything right unlike us." I also noticed once it slows down during the day and there isn't much really to do they peer pressure each other into taking a break longer than they should be.
Aristotle said, "Man by nature is a political animal." Aristotle argues that humanity is meant to be political by nature, as they have to interact with each other in order to be humans and they naturally form groups.

The Future of Political Psychology
After re-reading Looking Back, Looking Foward, by Katherine Reynolds a couple of ideas stuck to my head. For example, when reading about the decline of scientific rationalism it made me think about how the flat Earth society came to be and how there are religious extremists on campuses preaching radical ideas of same-sex marriage and being any other religion is a sin. I do agree with the article when it discusses liberals and conservatives going against scientific rationalism as they don't accept factual evidence since it disproves their beliefs. A fact that was shocking to me while reading this article was that 1/4 of Americans do not trust science but that also made me realize why the topic of vaccines not working became a hot topic of debate not so long ago.
